Special Services through the year
These include:
Christmas
Carols by candlelight the week before Christmas
Christmas Eve the popular Christingle Service (held in Tatsfield Primary School), and Midnight Holy Communion (in church)
Candlemas
On the Sunday nearest to 2nd February, a special service is held to think about the meaning of baptism. Those who have been baptised have the opportunity to celebrate their baptism and renew their baptismal promises.
Easter
During Holy Week a variety of local services and events are available Monday to Good Friday, as advertised and on Easter Sunday there is a special 10am All Age Holy Communion at St Mary’s.
Ascension Day
A 6am celebration of the Holy Communion held outside (weather permitting) in the churchyard overlooking the North Downs and followed by breakfast in the church hall.
Harvest Festival in October
Harvest gifts are collected and given to our link church Christ Church, Brixton Road, for their ‘Food Cupboard’ and Westerham Food Bank.
All Souls
An annual memorial service on the Sunday nearest to All Soul’s day when we invite people to come to give thanks and remember those who have died.
Remembrance Sunday
Act of Remembrance at 11am within the Service on the Sunday closest to November 11th.
All Age Service
On the first Sunday of each month there is a non-Holy Communion service lasting about forty minutes.
