Welcome to St Mary’s Tatsfield

We are a friendly Anglican church within the Diocese of Southwark, with a long proud Pilgrim history and we still welcome those travelling the Pilgrim’s Way today.  Our Team Curate Revd Debra Elsdon is based at the Rectory in Tatsfield with Husband Ashley.  Her role within the St Mary’s community and wider Limpsfield & Tatsfield Team Ministry includes a particular focus on engaging with children, young people and families.   Our main Sunday service is at 10am followed by refreshments in the Millennium Hall.

Our ancient pretty church is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 4.30pm approx for viewing, prayer or reflection. Each year we welcome many visitors, particularly for our Summer Teas, our bi-annual flower festival and also to enjoy the peace and beauty found within our church and churchyard with its spectacular views over the Downs. Please feel free to visit us!

We welcome enquiries for baptisms, weddings, and funerals. For further information please look at the ‘Our Services’ section at the top of the page or contact us at stmoffice.lttm@btinternet.com

St Mary’s Sunday Teas

Our popular Summer Teas season commences this year on Sunday 24th May from 3pm to 5pm. We look forward to welcoming visitors both old and new! Join us for tea and delicious cake and enjoy the lovely views over the downs.

St Mary’s Foodbank Collection

We support the needs of our local community through the Westerham foodbank, which continues to face demand with the high cost of living and a reduction in donations received. Non-perishable food donations can be left in the receptacle at the back of the church Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 3.30pm or contact Hilary Vale (01959 577864).

Prayer Requests

If you would like prayers said on your behalf we have a prayer request book in the church near the Baptism Font. If you cannot visit St Mary’s personally you can email your prayer request to stmoffice.lttm@btinternet.com or post it to St Mary’s Administrator c/o Parish Office, St Peter’s Church, High Street, Limpsfield RH8 0DG.
