Welcome to St Mary’s Tatsfield

We are a friendly Anglican church within the Diocese of Southwark.  We have a long, proud Pilgrim history and welcome those travelling the Pilgrim’s Way today.  Currently in Vacancy, the process of appointing a new Vicar is underway.  In the meantime our main service with music, led by visiting clergy/lay people is 10am on Sundays.  We also run a popular toddler group on Monday mornings.  You are warmly welcome to our services and events, detailed in our Notice Sheet via the link below.  This also includes Lent 2024.

Notices 17th March 2024

Each year we have many visitors, particularly for Summer Teas, our bi-annual flower festival and for the peace and beauty which many find in our pretty church and the churchyard, with its spectacular views across the Downs. Our church is open Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday from 9am to 3.30pm in Winter months.

Life Events

We welcome enquires for baptisms, weddings, and funerals. If you would like any further information, please look at ‘Our Services’ section at the top of the page or contact us at stmoffice.lttm@btinternet.com

St Mary’s Sunday Teas 2024

Watch this space for dates of our popular Summer Teas Season, held from 3pm to 5pm on Sundays in the Millennium Hall.  Visitors old and new are all very welcome to join us.

St Mary’s Collection for Foodbanks

We support the needs of our local community through the Westerham foodbank, which faces increased demand with the ongoing cost of living crisis and a reduction in donations received. Non-perishable food donations you are able to give can be left in the receptacle at the back of the church when open, or you can contact Hilary Vale (01959 577864).  Thank you for your support.

Prayer Requests

We have a prayer request book in the church near the Baptism Font, should you wish to have prayers said on your behalf. If you are unable to visit St Mary’s personally you can email your prayer request to stmoffice.lttm@btinternet.com or post it to St Mary’s Administrator c/o Parish Office, St Peter’s Church, High Street, Limpsfield RH8 0DG.
