The lovely country church of St. Andrew lies at the heart of Limpsfield Chart, set in a peaceful garden and surrounded by National Trust land. The church was built in 1896, with a bell tower added in 1902, holding a peal of bells which has called people to worship every Sunday and joyously rung out after weddings and other special services.
We are a friendly, inclusive and community focused church whose worship centres around the Sunday 10:00 am service of Holy Communion. On the first Sunday of the month, our worship is of a more informal style to suit all ages.
St. Andrew’s is a member of the Limpsfield and Tatsfield team of churches, and we hope to be growing our faith and outreach together in many new ways over the years ahead, both at St. Andrew’s itself and within the fellowship of the team.
The area is a magnet for people who wish to hike, horse ride or just enjoy a stroll in the beautiful woodland. The mission of the Church on the Chart is to be a vibrant part of village life, a relevant presence to the needs of this world, whilst at the same time offering an oasis for quiet and reflection. We would love to welcome you to our church, which remains open daily during daylight hours, and we invite you to find out more about our worship, life and people on this web site.
We wish you God’s blessings.
